Proposed Initiative on Matter Budget Survey

OLSI is currently investing the development and launch of a separate survey to track the costs of handling various types of legal matters in order to allow for benchmarking and for the identification of variables that justify deviations from industry averages.

With the consistent matter budget approach, OLSI allows hopes to encourage a more efficient budget preparation and review process.

Currently, OLSI plans to develop the matter budget survey using the code sets and budget format developed by the Uniform Task Based Management System (www.utbms.com).
