OLSI Quality Awards
 

Overview/Criteria


During the first quarter of 2007 or soon thereafter, OLSI will award its first “Trailblazer” Awards.

Those awards will recognize law departments and law firms, in categories organized by the size of the departments and firms, that have demonstrated at least some of the following characteristics:
 

·  It has demonstrated recognition of the importance of using metrics to manage its work more effectively
·  It has begun to implement a metrics program by collecting and analyzing data about its work through some concrete steps or actions
·  It has helped to promote the adoption of metrics within the legal profession by its leadership on this subject through speaking or writing about the importance of doing so and sharing information from its metrics program with like-minded organizations
·  It has received recognition previously for its metrics program as evidenced by at least one award from an organization whose interest in or commitment to metrics is well recognized in the legal profession or has been otherwise publicly recognized
